The company executives advised this designer upon hire that they wanted to continue to improve upon their existing tele-health application in Orthopedics. And due to its success, they also requested this designer to work with the executive, management, marketing and engineering teams to take this main product model and use it to create a new, separate application as a product in a new category.
These 2 main products/projects were to be within company brand guidelines, which were limited at the time of this designer’s hire. -
Working with Engineering, Marketing, Sales and C-suite levels, this designer updated an existing tele-health application based on a series of design sprints amongst the 3 engineering teams, with marketing teams and brand consistency in mind. This designer came up with several demo iterations for sales and marketing team use across the country alongside one division of engineering. With another division of engineering, this designer also worked on various iterations of this product model, applying it to a new category of healthcare. Taking into account user demographics, user feedback and healthcare standards based on category, this designer developed a solution to each product project.
Due to various organizational changes throughout this process, the product development to release took place from 2022-2023. The release of product 1’s updates and product 2’s release are set for 2024.

Since the company’s 3 subdivisions of brands did not have a design system of useable files such as logos, icons, etc., this designer generated a complete design system within noted specifications to ensure branding consistency beyond this designer’s time at the company. This designer worked with various team members and managers to determine the latest legal markings, common file sizes by type, etc., and generated optimized logo files for standard and print use. This designer then generated approximately 50 documents in a unified template of their design to begin unifying the brand’s overall presence, internally and externally, to resolve immediate issues within insurance and logistics teams.
The completed design system has some 800+ files of branded content created by this designer, setting a standard amongst the marketing and creative teams’ members.
