Supporting the management of B2B and B2C commercial relationships at scale
I was hired at DataBP to review the design of their platform and to work directly with the founders on implementing ongoing changes I was to design in a short time contract. Below is the design system I created based on the work.
One of the key changes made to the product was an addition of 2 items; a button and a feature, altering the user interfaces and user journey mappings.
To test the new feature already in progress when I joined, I partnered with the lead engineer, and acted as a UI consultant and a frontend QA engineer. I prepared a number of user interface reports for simple to complex changes in support of what this feature was to achieve, as well as helped in frontend coding and debugging.
The new feature expanded the platform to allow clients (businesses) to easily create new websites from our platform, streamlining and simplifying the process for marketing teams, who are not necessarily software engineers.
I designed and built out 15 websites for 15 different clients in finance, starting off a marketing campaign to highlight the feature with useable templates for them at the ready.
